Can you keep my details on records and let me know when suitable jobs become available?
Yes, just click on “register” at the top of the page and enter your details, we will then send you an email when a new job vacancy is uploaded on the website
I’ve never filled in an online application form, how does it work?
The online form is a replica of the NSH standard paper application form, it is split into pages which you can save after completing each one. Some of the fields are mandatory which means it will not let you move onto the next page until you have completed them. If you don’t have enough time to complete it all in one go, you can save as you go along, log out and when you come back it will have saved what you have already completed.
How will I know that you have received my application form?
Once you click to submit your application, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement from us via email, this confirms that we have received your application.
How can I apply for a job advertised on your site?
Once you have read the details of the job and have decided to apply for a vacancy, click on “apply now" on the right hand side of the page. If you have not registered before, it will ask you for your email address and to choose a password. You must have an email address to use the online application form. Once you have registered, it will take you to the application form and you can start your application. Alternatively you can download a pdf version of the application form to apply by post.
When will I hear back about my application?
We aim to let all applicants know the outcome of their application within a short a time as possible, if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks, please contact us on 01275 398 014.
What happens once I submit my application?
Once you click on the submit button, your application is received by our HR team and can be viewed by the Recruiting Manager. A member of the HR Team will then be contact with you to either invite you to the next stage of the recruitment process or informing you that you have been unsuccessful.
Is there a time limit to complete the online application form?
Yes, the application form will time out after 2 hours so you must make sure you have completed everything by then or risk losing some information. It is a good idea to complete the personal details section in Word and then cut and paste into the application form.
What happens if I lose my web connection whilst I am completing an application?
If you lose your web connection whilst you are completing an application you will lose the information that has been entered. We recommend you to click the save button everytime you complete a page. However, if you are in the process of completing a page, and you lose the connection you will lose only the current page that you are working on, the information on the previous pages will still be saved.
I can’t view and download the information for the posts, what can I do?
The documents are all saved in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) format. If you cannot view them, you will need to download this software, free, from the Adobe Acrobat website.
